You’ve learned some words. You know hola, gracias, maybe a few verbs. But when you try to read real Spanish, it feels like too much, too fast.

This book is the step in between.

Short Stories in Spanish A1 gives you four original stories written for complete beginners. The language is simple, the sentences are clear, and every story is built on the vocabulary and grammar you meet at the A1 level. You won’t need a dictionary on every line. You’ll understand more than you expect, and that feeling is what keeps you reading.

What’s inside

4 original stories, written only for this book, about everyday people and situations
Each story is split into 4–5 short chapters, so you can read one chapter in a few minutes, even on a busy day
Exercises after every story to check your understanding:
- True / False
- Multiple choice
- Open questions
- A short 2–3 sentence summary in your own words
Simple, natural Spanish at A1 level, with no overwhelming grammar explanations

Who it’s for

Beginners who know the basics and want their first real reading practice
Busy learners who want to study in small, steady steps
Self-learners and students working with a tutor
Teachers looking for ready-to-use reading material for A1 classes

Why stories work

When you follow a story, you stop translating word by word and start understanding Spanish in context. New words stick because they belong to a character and a moment, not to a list. Short chapters mean you finish what you start, and finishing builds the habit.
