ABOUT

Learning a new language doesn’t have to be stressful or boring.
It can be fun, simple, and something you actually enjoy.

HELLO

I'm Faye

A language lover from Greece, and my mission is to help you learn languages in an easier, more enjoyable way  without pressure, overwhelm, or perfectionism.

My journey with languages began while studying tourism management, where communication across cultures became part of everyday life. That’s when I fell in love not only with languages, but with the process of learning them. I started experimenting with different ways to learn, searching for methods that felt more natural, more effective, and more fun.

How it all started...

I have always loved languages and traveling.

English was always my strongest subject in school, and it came to me quite naturally. Later, while studying tourism and hospitality management, I started learning Italian, since it was an important language for tourism in Greece. After that, I learned Spanish thanks to the Erasmus program, which gave me the opportunity to live in Spain for a year and a half.

I loved learning languages, but I quickly realized how overwhelming it could be to study constantly, day and night. At some point, it stopped feeling natural and started feeling exhausting. That’s when I understood something important: to truly learn a language, you need to use it every day. And by “use it,” I don’t mean doing something big or intense. It can be as simple as listening to a song, watching a video, or hearing the language in real life. That’s exactly how I learned Spanish little by little, through everyday exposure, not endless studying.

And then came Czech

I’m currently living in the Czech Republic, a beautiful country in Central Europe.

I started learning Czech a few months after arriving, but this time things felt very different. I wasn’t excited. I didn’t feel curious. The only reason I was learning it was to survive in my daily life. I didn’t have a strong “why.”

I tried different apps and attended one lesson per week, the only thing I could realistically fit into my busy schedule. And honestly? It was boring. Not the teacher, the teacher was great, but the grammar rules, the endless vocabulary lists, and the pressure to “do it properly” killed my motivation. On top of that, having friends from other countries who also didn’t speak Czech made it even easier to avoid using the language at all.

Until I realized something that changed everything:
1% progress is better than perfection.

And then something clicked.

Remember how easy it felt to learn things when we were kids?
No fear of mistakes. No pressure to be perfect. We learned by playing, trying, and enjoying the process.

That’s the mindset I want to bring back.

Here, you’re encouraged to give yourself permission to play, to be curious, and to enjoy learning again. Because when learning feels light and engaging, progress comes naturally.

This space is all about practical strategies, simple techniques, and a more human approach to language learning, one that fits into your real life and keeps you motivated along the way.

Because learning a language shouldn’t feel like a chore.
It should feel like an adventure.
